Resident blogger, Fiona Russell. Our outdoorsy expert.
I am more widely known as FionaOutdoors! I'm a press and on-line journalist and a professional blogger with a huge passion
for health, fitness and outdoors activities. My home country of Scotland is where my heart is and when I get the opportunity I head to countryside for walking, especially "Munro bagging", cycling, hill running, and even a spot of outdoors swimming. I'm fortunate enough to have a fitness and outdoors-loving partner and together we have summitted numerous mountains and cycled many, many miles. I always encourage my daughter to spend as much time outdoors as possible and now we have a whippet pup we will be exploring more of the hills and trails around our home north of Glasgow.

We were lucky enough to win a competition back in 2009 with Regatta and became their 'Regatta Family 2010'. We spent
2 weeks in South Africa in March of that year and 2 weeks in Canada in the August. They were both holidays of a lifetime.
'We' are the Day family. Karen, Russell, Ethan (now 11) and Ellen 8. After a busy week at work or school we love to get out and about during our weekends. After football matches, netball matches and drama class we love to head out on the bikes, or on foot for a walk in the woods. During the warmer months we also love to get a little further away from home with the tent. We are at our most content in the 'great outdoors', ideally with good friends and near to nice local country pub for essential sustenance!
Favourite part of UK
The Cotswolds. We spend so much time in this beautiful part of the UK. Only a couple of hours from home yet we always feel like we are totally away from it all when we are there.
Favourite Regatta product
We are the best dressed family on the campsite when we are all wearing our matching soft shells. Always in our bags for weekends away. Perfect for layering up if it gets a bit chilly or keeping us dry if it gets wet.
Favourite country
Probably South Africa. We had an amazing holiday there with Regatta and all fell totally in love with it.

I'm a natural health consultant, freelance journalist, published recipe author, presenter - and the mother of a 2 yr old. You can find me regularly blogging at Naturally Mummy where I enjoy writing about all things related to living a natural, ethical, conscientious, outdoor lifestyle.
We're definitely an outdoor family and enjoy fabulous walks with stunning scenery, usually a bit closer to home these days in the rolling South Downs. My husband and I both grew up living in the countryside. These days we love nothing more than being together as a family within close proximately to nature. My personal challenge this year is to get back into running and compete in a few races.

Guest blogger, Victoria Tansey. Our novice walker.
I am a novice walker, who has always enjoyed walking, but didn't think it was possible to do regular walks without learning how to read a map and a compass. I took up walking in earnest this New Year, when I realised that there are lots of websites and books aimed at people like me. I haven't looked back since!
It seems that I have unintentionally set up a walking group, as every week we have a group of friends who join us. All that is missing now is my own dog to accompany me.
I am looking forward to seeing a lot more of the beautiful countryside that the UK has to offer, and to watching the seasons change as the year goes on.

Behind the scenes
Gill Russell, our PR guru
I have worked with Regatta for over ten years, starting as PR Manager for Regatta but since evolving into the role of PR and Marketing Manager which keeps me very busy liaising with Magazines, TV and different associations on opportunities to promote the brand.
Charities are part and parcel of my role and as such I conquered the 4 peaks of the Lake District last year in 17 hours. This was a challenge that was also hugely rewarding as it raised over £7,000 for charity. This year I am planning a triathlon and then scaling Scafell Pike in a bid to raise funds for one of our company charities – Stockdales. The outdoors is well and truly in my blood!

Hobbies
Baking, running, cycling, reading.
Rachael Brown, our web marketing manager
I have worked at Regatta since 2010 and I thoroughly enjoy it. I work in the web marketing team. My role encompasses managing all web activity including this blog our Facebook page and our Twitter profile. I love having interaction with our customers and finding out what makes you tick and what you think of our products.
I have done some extensive travelling over the years and really developed a passion for the outdoors. Completing the Inca Trail and touring New Zealand were definite highlights. My challenge this year is the 3 peaks, I will be doing this in July. I love being out in the fresh air and the older I get the more I want to move out of the city!
